MESSAGES FOR RENÉE

"DYLAN"

from the hearts of your friends

In a November 2003 "Premiere" magazine interview, Renée acknowledged that Dylan had recently died.
"Woof" had been Renée's best friend since 1988.

The following messages of support were posted on this site for Renée's eyes.

Dear Renée:
Sorry to read about Dylan. I have a golden retriever, now 10 years old, also nicknamed "Woof". I think of you and of Dylan every time I come home to his joyful romps. I know it won't be forever, but I enjoy every single day he's around just as you did with Dylan.
Great hugs and sympathy.

PS: Monty died on November 27, 2005 on his way to the veterinarian. Old age took its toll in the last few weeks of his life when he lost motor control of his hind legs and could no longer stand up on his own. Around 4:30 in the morning, he passed away in the back-seat of my car as I was taking him to the Garden State emergency vet in Tinton Falls, NJ. He was truly a wonderful dog and will always be remembered as my best friend!

I don't know what I would do without my dog Monster.
I can't imagine your pain. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

On missing a pal

Renee. You have to have "been there" to know what it feels like to lose a long-time dog companion. I lost "Pooch" after ten years - 17 years ago and even though I now have "Doris" I still think of him.
If there are tennis-balls in heaven, I'll bet Pooch has shown Dylan under which celestial couch they are hiding.
Hugs,
Peter

Renee,
So terribly sorry to hear of the loss of your precious baby. As a dog mom myself, I can only imagine what you are feeling, but hope you can find comfort in your family and friends.
You have my deepest sympathy,

Gurra

"stay strong"
Posted by Jessica P on 10/26/2003, 12:25 am

Renee,
If you actually are reading this, I want you to know how truly sorry I am for your loss. My dog has been gone for two years now. However, the only difference is that we had to put her to sleep due to a disease that would cause unbearable pain if not stopped. Making that decision was one of the hardest things I had to face.
I know that many people have said the same and even though I can relate to how you are feeling, I cannot feel your pain directly. In reality, no one can except for yourself. My recommendation is to deal with it the way you know best. Trust you own advice and let your feelings be your guidance. You don’t need some else to have sympathy for you rather you need someone who will be there for support [even if that means “butting out” for a bit]. I know its hard so don’t be afraid to show your true feelings and let your loved ones help you in your time of need.
Stay strong,
Jessica

Sorry for your loss Renee. Must have hurt alot, and I hope it's lessening by now. I have a two year old Golden who's very special, and I can't imagine being without him now.

I am so sorry

Just a few days ago I watched a TV program about a photographer who followed a girl around a big busy city taking pictures of her walking her dog. She did not know she was being followed and he actually sold these pictures to the magazines. That same day I joined the Renee users group on Yahoo because I was so impressed by her. Now I read that the beautiful dog has died. I wish that I had never seen that program. I am so terribly sorry.
